Martin photographed our wedding from beginning to end at Orchardleigh, Somerset. Prior to the day he relaxed us both during a pre-wedding shoot. On the day he arrived during my preparations and was completely unobtrusive and everyone felt totally at ease. The lack of electricity (and therefore light) was taken in Martin’s stride and although he was with us until around 10pm, his smile and enthusiasm never faltered. The photos he has produced are spectacular and will ensure we can cherish our day for years to come. We wholeheartedly recommend Martin to any couple and have done so. All our guests have commented on the stunning photos and we will certainly to look to use him for any future projects.

Memories of our very special wedding day held at St John’s and then the Assembly Rooms, Bath will be easy to treasure because of the incredible lengths which Martin went to, ensuring he captured every little detail and magical moment that made up the day. Nothing was too much, or too trivial for him to do. The angles of the shots were inspirational: he knelt, he lay on his back, he even shimmied up a ladder! His choice of shots was original and he thought out of the box. He put both children and adults at ease, so much so, that we have some stunning photographs. In fact, they are all amazing!

Martin Dabek of photodabek was our wedding photographer. We got married in December at Thornbury Castle at a late afternoon service. Thornbury was always going to provide significant lighting challenges to any photographer and Martin was recommended to us as a winter wedding specialist. Martin is very competitively priced and has a wide range of packages, varying from a CD of your photos to beautiful albums. He also provides A5 hard back photo books which we found ideal for our parents. Martin’s service was exceptional. He was proactive throughout, quick to respond and was able to design and agree the album layout via e-mails and PDFs which was extremely useful as we do not live locally. During the wedding Martin was very low key and unobtrusive, which resulted in some very natural and unposed photos. Finally the quality of Martin’s photos was exceptional. Considering the significant lighting challenges, the quality of the photos was exceptional. We were also very impressed with the albums, Martin laid out the photos so the album told the story of the day.
We have no complaints with photodabek and would be quick to recommend to others.
