The Rectory Hotel, a boutique venue in the Cotswolds, was the gorgeous setting for Jo and Luke’s autumnal wedding. I was recommended to them by Lucy and James, who I photographed at Orchardleigh House in 2012.
The groomsmen and Groom prepared for the day at The Potting Shed Pub, a charming local that is owned by The Rectory Hotel. There was time for me to catch them sneaking in a round or two before I headed to the hotel to photograph the bride preparing for her big day. The lovely vintage wedding dress was supplied by Perfect Day Bridal Rooms.
The intimate ceremony was help in the hotels orangery and the heavy swags of flora you can see hanging from the ceiling were created by Claire of The Wilde Bunch. The reception was board-game themed with tables named after the couples favourite games including Trivial Pursuits and Cranium. Music was provided in the form of Swing Easy a group of talented jazz musicians from London. The cake, which was an elegant white and red affair, was by Jelly Cake.
Despite the threat of rain the weather managed to hold off throughout the day meaning guests were able to enjoy the hotel both inside and out, and it meant I could get some great images of the bridal party on the brightly coloured pigs in the garden.
As usual small selection from this Autumn Wedding at The Rectory Hotel. If you are considering a wedding at The Rectory Hotel, please get in touch to discuss your wedding photography requirements.
“Martin photographed our wedding in November, at the Rectory Hotel in Crudwell. He was with us for the entire day from 10am to 10pm. The photos he captured were beautiful and we, as well as our guests, were so impressed with how discrete he was, yet always there to capture the best moments. Would highly recommend.” Jo & Luke
